Academic and technical experience, particularly in the area of research and development, identifying underlying pathophysiological problems underpinning impaired wound healing. Significant experience in feeding wound biology into product development opportunities (adding value to current product portfolios as well as identifying new product potentials.

• Technical writing (publications)

Publication experience in wound healing and wound care. Medical writing: manuscript writing, editing and/or review, review articles on aspects of wound biology and wound dressing technology. Laboratory documentation: standard operating procedures, method validation protocols and reports. View a list of publications

• Laboratory-based method development

Extensive experience in laboratory-based environment, day-to-day running of R&D laboratory to a level to support relevant site accreditations. Design and implementation of laboratory studies on range of R&D and product development functions, including biological and physical testing studies on wound dressings.

• Training and education

Experience in the training and education of sales force in aspects wound biology underpinning product portfolios. Education of tissue viability nurses in aspects of wound biology, wound dressings and relevant aspects of research and development practices.
